Men of Swash buckle! The Scottish Play in Frome, Somerset.

Let's say something about these wonderful actors shall we!? Phil Ross and Mike Walt bring their gargantuan talents to the stage of the Merlin Theatre on the 24th and 25th of May. Phil Ross will be playing our leading man 'Macbeth'. After careers in music, concerts, clubs and bars, as well as undergraduate degrees in Business Management and Law, Phil attended a short course at the London Screen Acting Academy in Spring 2018, before enrolling at the Identity School of Acting in Brixton, South London. In March 2019, he shot his first movie duologue with Jonathan R. Meyers at Nu Boyana Film Studios in Sofia, Bulgaria for American Night (2019) (Dir. Alessio Jim Della Valle). A role he played in a second generation New York Chinese accent.

Michael Walter (right) Is soon to graduate from SGS University with a BA in Drama & Performance. Michael already has a string of performances in theatre under his belt and this is not his first Shakespearean portrayal. In 2008 he played Sebastian in 'Twelfth Night' with another fabulous Frome director Calum Grant at our wonderful Merlin Theatre. And more recently in 2017 Mike gave a captivating performance as Adam in the stage production of 'Frankenstein'. Michael is also a very skilled and experienced martial artist and co-choreographed the fight scenes for this Scottish Play with the director Georgiana Neilson-Toy who hold a 2nd Kyu in Karate.
